Voices are conveniently represented on the left of the screen as colorful tabs. Each voice can be assigned to be played on multiple instruments.
If you select multiple voices, you can group them together by pressing ⌘G. From the parent voice group, you can adjust the instrument settings for all the child voices. This is handy when you have multiple parts for a certain instrument, for example two parts for the keyboard and one part for a flute.
You can double click on the voice tabs on the left hand side of the screen to quickly access their control panels , where you can find options to rename, hide/unaided, mute/unmute, lock/unlock, delete the voice, and more.
The effects of the Z-axis value can be seen when viewing the 3D play mode, which can be accessed either through from the Share panel or by opening a small visualizer preview window. The smaller the value is on the Z-axis, the further away the notes will be from the camera, thus creating a parallax effect in the play mode when the music plays.
You can also adjust the Note Y Scalar value, which changes the height of each note. Adjust “Note roundedness” to determine how rounded the notes are rendered.
