General terms
Clavierist is expected to be under active development for the forseeable future. If certain features are not working correctly, try reloading the app. If you would like to report an issue, you can send us a bug report.
We do not guarantee, represent or warrant that your use of our Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free. We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue our Service (or any part or content thereof) without prior notice at any time for any reason.
The app is provided as is, and we shall not be liable for any data loss for any reason. Tools are provided for backing up or exporting your work, which we encourage you to utilize.
Clavierist is a music composition application, and shall be used by the User solely for this purpose. We do not claim any rights with regards to your work. Any content you create with Clavierist belongs to you, and you are solely responsible for the content you enter into our app. Please ensure that you do not infringe on others’ rights, such as copyright or intellectual property rights, when making use of our Service. We also do not bear any responsibilities to any content created by you with the application, or any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages that could arise from using our Service.
Please use the Service responsibly. If you use the app for any fraudulent, malicious, deceitful, abusive, violent, harmful, immoral or any otherwise unlawful purposes, we reserve the right to terminate your use of the Service immediately and irrevocably. In the event of a termination due to your abuse of our service, we may choose to hold a copy of your data should it be necessary for any legal purposes.
To assist in providing services, all the information you enter into our Service can be viewed and managed by our administrator(s). Due to the open nature of Clavierist, we do not encrypt any data stored in our database, except for passwords and uploaded assets.
We are not responsible if information made available on this site is not accurate, complete or current.
We reserve the right to refuse service and revoke access to anyone for any reason at any time.
Personal data
We collect personal data from you when you use our website and process your personal data for the purposes of providing you with access to our website and application, as well as improving, testing and monitoring our Service. Your data is retained as long as you are a User of our Service.
We are committed to protecting your privacy and your personal data. However, please keep in mind that any information you provide on your public user profile and any contents you make public is then accessible by anyone.
The data we collect may include:
– Service usage and device data, including your IP address
– Contact and query data, such as your name, email, profile image, and any details you provide to us by submitting queries to our email $yile.clavierist@gmail.com.
You can request to get a copy of your data, or get your account and data deleted at any time. Any data deletion request, once processed, is irreversible.
We may process your personal data where it is necessary to comply with legal obligations.
We will also share your any data you provide with external service providers, which will be listed in the next section.
Third-party services and links
Your content is stored in a managed database hosted by MongoDB Atlas.
Uploaded assets (images, audio files etc.) are stored on Amazon’s AWS S3 file cloud storage service.
The application frontend is hosted by Vercel, and the server hosted by Heroku.
Registration requests are passed through Tines, a workflow automation platform.
We are not responsible for the content or practices of any third-party services listed above, as well as any external links our website or application may link to. You should review their terms independently before using our Service.
Complaints, claims, concerns, or questions regarding third-party products should be directed to the third-party.
Termination
These Terms of Service are effective unless and until terminated by either you or us. You may terminate these Terms of Service at any time by notifying us that you no longer wish to use our Services, or when you cease using our site. If in our sole judgment you fail, or we suspect that you have failed, to comply with any term or provision of these Terms of Service, we also may terminate this agreement at any time without notice and you will remain liable for all obligations due up to and including the date of termination; and/or accordingly will deny you access to our Services.
Entire agreement
The failure of us to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms of Service shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
